Raiders re-sign Kelly

Alameda, CA (Sports Network) - The Oakland Raiders have reportedly resigned defensive lineman Tommy Kelly to a seven-year contract that is said to be worth more than $50 million on Thursday.

According to a report in the Oakland Tribune, Kelly, coming off reconstructive knee surgery after sustaining a season-ending knee injury against Tennessee on October 28, was set to become an unrestricted free agent.

He finished last season with 30 tackles, one sack and a blocked kick in seven games.

In four seasons in the NFL, all with Oakland, Kelly has amassed 163 tackles and 13 sacks in 49 games.
