Boston sends St. Pierre, Sobotka down to Providence

Boston, MA (Sports Network) - The Boston Bruins assigned forwards Martin St. Pierre and Vladimir Sobotka to the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League, it was announced on Friday.

St. Pierre has seen action in nine games for Boston this year, scoring a goal and two assists. In 30 games with the P-Bruins this season, he registered a 10 goals and 25 assists.

Sobotka has played in 15 games for Boston, scoring a goal and an assist. In 17 games with the P-Bruins this year, Sobotka tallied 10 goals and 11 assists.
