Dolphins to appear on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'

Davie, FL (Sports Network) - The Miami Dolphins will be this summer's participant for the cable series "Hard Knocks" on HBO.
New Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin made the announcement Tuesday.
"We thought it was in the best interest of the organization to do it at this time," Philbin said Tuesday.
In addition to a new head coach, the Dolphins will likely have a quarterback competition this summer with first-round pick Ryan Tannehill set to battle Matt Moore and David Garrard for the position.
Previous teams to appear on the series were the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals and New York Jets.
The first episode is slated to air Tuesday, August 7.
