Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Kerry Collins passed for 128 yards and a touchdown and LenDale White ran for another score as the Tennessee Titans defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 24-7, in a game played in high winds at Paul Brown Stadium.

Collins, filling in for an injured Vince Young, managed the game well, completing 14-of-21 passes and not throwing an interception. Young is recuperating from a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee suffered in the Titans' season-opening 17-10 win over Jacksonville last Sunday.

Chris Johnson ran for 109 yards on 19 carries, while White had 59 yards on the ground for Tennessee (2-0). Justin Gage caught five passes for 59 yards and a score and Keith Bulluck had a blocked punt and fumble recovery for a touchdown in the win.

Carson Palmer struggled for Cincinnati (0-2), throwing for 134 yards on 16- of-27 passing with two interceptions. Chris Perry rushed for 64 yards and a TD, while Chad Johnson was limited to four grabs for 37 yards.

With Tennessee holding on to a 14-7 lead after one half, both teams continued to struggle managing the windy conditions. Punter Craig Hentrich fumbled the snap on the Titans first possession of the stanza and Kyries Hebert recovered for the home team on the Tennessee 36. The Bengals were unable to capitalize on the miscue after a marginal offensive set and Shayne Graham hit the right upright on the field goal attempt from 37 yards out.

Rod Bironas' 34-yard field goal with 4:49 remaining in the third quarter hooked just inside the left goal post to give the Titans a 10-point advantage.

The visitors continued to pour it on early in the fourth quarter. With Cincinnati backed up to its own two-yard line following a 70-yard wind-aided punt by Hentrich, Tennessee forced a three-and-out. Bulluck then came in clean and blocked Kyle Larson's punt attempt and fell on it for a touchdown to up the Titans lead to 24-7.

Tennessee picked off Palmer twice in the final quarter and used a good ball- control game to preserve the victory.

After a scoreless first quarter, Tennessee found the end zone after mounting an 11-play, 61-yard drive. Starting on the Titans 39 and playing in high winds, Collins completed a short pass to Gage on the second play of the series that moved the ball to midfield.

Following a third-and-five conversion, White ran for a minimal gain and Collins hit Brandon Jones for 19 yards, taking it to the 17. Five plays later, facing a second-and-goal from the one, White went up the middle for the score to give Tennessee a 7-0 lead with 11:06 left in the second quarter.

Cincinnati came back to tie the contest with 3:16 left in the half. Following a short punt by Hentrich, the Bengals took over on their 37 and used a good ground control game to move the ball with ease against the Titans defense, with Perry getting the majority of the work. Facing a fourth-and-short at the Tennessee 13, Perry ran over right tackle and sprinted the distance for the touchdown.

An 11-yard Collins-to-Gage hookup with 38 seconds left in the opening half put the visitors ahead 14-7. Chris Johnson keyed the drive when he ran for a 51- yard gain to the Cincinnati 20-yard line. Two plays later Collins found Gage along the far sideline, and Gage sidestepped a defender and walked into the end zone.
