Frank leads ATB Financial Classic

Calgary, AB (Sports Network) - Garrett Frank shot a six-under 66 and took the lead Friday at the ATB Financial Classic.

Frank finished two rounds at Sirocco Golf Club at 11-under-par 133 for a one- stroke advantage over Mauricio Molina (67).

Graham DeLaet fired a 64 and moved into a tie for third place with Stuart Anderson (69) at eight-under 136. Tom Stankowski (70) stood alone in fifth place at seven-under 137, while seven players were another shot further back at 138.

Frank posted seven birdies and one bogey in his second round and was happy that the wind had died down from Thursday, when he shared the first-round lead with Anderson, Stankowski and Molina.

"I've been hitting my irons real well all week and I'm real fortunate to be where I am at, because my driver is all over the map," said Frank.

The cut line fell at even-par 144 with 60 players moving on to the weekend.
