Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Jarome Iginla scored twice to tie the all-time franchise-record for goals, leading the Calgary Flames to a 3-1 win over the Phoenix Coyotes.
Iginla, who reached the 40-goal plateau for the third time in his career, also had an assist. He has 364 career goals -- all with the Flames -- tying Theo Fleury's team record.
Rhett Warrener also scored and Kristin Huselius had three assists for Calgary, which snapped a two-game skid, but won for the fifth time in seven games.
The Flames moved into a tie with Minnesota atop the Northwest Division, although the Wild currently have the advantage with two more victories.
Miikka Kiprusoff had 16 saves for the Flames, who beat the Coyotes for a third straight time.
Shane Doan scored for Phoenix, losers in four of its last six contests. Ilya Bryzgalov made 25 saves in a losing effort.
Phoenix has 71 points, three points behind three teams tied for seventh in the Western Conference.
Warrener scored just 1:23 into the game on a shot from above the right circle, and Iginla made it 2-0 just over four minutes later with a power-play tally on a one-timer from the left circle off a pass from Huselius.
The Flames were disallowed a goal when Iginla was whistled for goaltender interference early in the second, and a short time later he was denied on a great glove save by Bryzgalov.
Calgary seemingly made it 3-0 later in the second when a clearing attempt bounced off the side boards, and the puck slid behind Bryzgalov. However, Ed Jovanovski barely swept the puck away before it went entirely over the goal line.
At the other end, Doan scored at the 12:02 mark of the second.
Play was then stopped to review Calgary's supposed goal, which was disallowed.
Iginla provided the Flames with separation at 11:19 of the third by scoring on a quick shot from below the right circle.
