Hurricanes activate Ruutu from IR

Raleigh, NC (Sports Network) - The Carolina Hurricanes activated forward Tuomo Ruutu from injured reserve on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old has been out of action for the last 15 contests after suffering an upper-body injury in a 2-1 win over Colorado on January 8.
Ruutu has tallied 11 goals, 14 assists and 38 penalty minutes in 39 games this season.
