Sabres sign Kaleta to multi-year contract

Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - The Buffalo Sabres have agreed to terms with rugged forward Patrick Kaleta on a multi-year contract.
The 26-year-old Kaleta registered five goals and 10 points in 63 games last season. He led the team with 116 penalty minutes and topped all forwards with 139 hits.
A 2004 sixth-round draft pick of the Sabres, the Buffalo native has totaled 26 goals, 24 assists and 434 penalty minutes in 267 career games.
