Anaheim Ducks (34-30-8) at Vancouver Canucks (44-25-4), 10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Anaheim Ducks will try to solve their road woes when they visit the Vancouver Canucks for a clash at General Motors Place.

Anaheim had won four straight to close out a seven-game homestand but dropped the first test of a three-game road trip Tuesday in Calgary. The Ducks have a dismal 11-19-5 record as the guest this year and have lost seven of their last 11 on the road.

The Ducks will need to find a way to win as the visitor if they plan to cash in on their fading playoff chances. Anaheim, which plays six of its last 10 games on the road, is nine points behind Detroit for the eighth and final postseason berth in the Western Conference.

Meanwhile, the Canucks are first in the Northwest Division and third in the conference with 92 points, but have lost two straight and three of their last four contests.

Vancouver enters tonight with a five-point lead over Colorado for the Northwest lead. The Avalanche are also in action tonight, hosting Los Angeles in Denver.

The Ducks were dealt a 3-1 loss by the Flames on Tuesday as Rene Bourque scored the go-ahead goal for Calgary on a breakaway late in the second period.

Scott Niedermayer scored the only goal for the Ducks, while Jonas Hiller made 25 saves in the loss.

"They came home and played a good hockey game," Ducks forward Ryan Getzlaf said. "We didn't respond the way we wanted to, especially in that first period. We just struggled to find our legs tonight."

The Canucks were handed a 3-2 regulation loss in Edmonton on Tuesday, failing to gain a point against the bottom team in the NHL. Jeff Deslauriers was strong with 31 saves and Andrew Cogliano was credited with the game-winning goal in the second period for the lowly Oilers, who are a whopping 37 points behind Vancouver in the standings.

Daniel Sedin and Mason Raymond scored for the Canucks and Roberto Luongo turned aside 19 shots in the loss.

"I got to find the consistency in my game that I had before," Luongo said. "You have a bad game every 12 games, now it seems every two or three games I'm not at my best. I just got to find that consistency level back and make sure game in and game out I have that swagger that I typically have."

Luongo surrendered two goals on the first four shots he faced on Tuesday and has yielded three goals or more in three of his last four games. Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault has not yet named a starter for tonight's game, meaning backup Andrew Raycroft could get the nod over Luongo.

Anaheim is 2-0 against the Canucks this season and has won four straight overall in the series. The Ducks also have taken two in a row and eight of their last 11 contests in Vancouver.

The Canucks are 26-8-2 as the host this year.
