Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - Rick Nash scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner near the midway point of the third period, as the Columbus Blue Jackets rallied to defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning, 3-2, at Nationwide Arena.

Fedor Tyutin also lit the lamp for the Blue Jackets, who have won two straight and three of four. Kristian Huselius had two assists for Columbus, which got 16 saves from Steve Mason.

"We got into some penalty trouble, but in between periods we knew we weren't playing well and you know, a lot of guys stood up and said stuff and we knew the third was going to be our best," Nash said.

Vincent Lecavalier and Mike Lundin scored for the Lightning, who have dropped two in a row and seven of nine. Antero Niittymaki turned aside 22-of-25 shots in defeat.

Down 2-1 in the third, Tyutin lit the lamp at the 6:21 mark to even the score, as he took a feed from Antoine Vermette and fired a wrister from the top of the left circle that found the upper right corner of the net.

Just over a minute later, Nash scored on the power play to give Columbus a 3-2 lead. Huselius' shot from the left point set up a rebound in front for R.J. Umberger, who was being checked to the ice from behind. Umberger managed to backhand a pass to the slot for Nash, whose snap shot got past Niittymaki.

The Bolts went the final 1:47 with an extra skater to no avail.

"We didn't give them much except the power plays," Lightning head coach Rick Tocchet said. "It was kind of, I shouldn't say, a boring game. I thought we tightened up defensively and didn't give them many chances other than the power plays."

Tampa Bay drew first blood with 3:10 left in the first period, when Lundin's wrist shot from the left point beat traffic in front and got past Mason.

The Blue Jackets tied things up on Nash's goal with 1:56 remaining. Niittymaki made his way behind his own cage to try to clear the puck. However, the disc caromed off a Lightning player and Nash was there to backhand the puck home.

Lecavalier put the Lightning ahead 2-1 with a power-play goal at the 8:06 mark of the second. Martin St. Louis controlled the disc at the top of the right circle and slid a pass to the side of the net for Lecavalier, whose wrister beat Mason.
