Brian Rolston and Patrik Elias also tallied for the Devils, while Travis Zajac picked up two assists. Martin Brodeur made 23 saves in the win.

Matt Moulson scored twice for the Islanders, who got a 24-save performance by Dwayne Roloson. Jesse Joensuu had the other goal for New York.
