Segares suspended additional game after red card vs. Galaxy

New York, NY (Sports Network) - The Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee suspended Chicago Fire defender Gonzalo Segares one additional game and fined him for actions against Los Angeles Galaxy defender Leonardo this past Saturday.

Segares struck Leonardo during an off the ball incident, earning him a red card and automatic one-game suspension, with the additional sanctions being tacked onto that.

Segares will now be suspended for his team's games on Wednesday vs. Toronto and Saturday at Philadelphia, as well being fined $1,000.
