Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Four the second game in a row the Houston Dynamo scored four first-half goals before shutting things down in the second half en-route to a 4-0 victory over Chivas USA in Major League Soccer action on Wednesday night at Robertson Stadium.

Kei Kamara scored two goals and Stuart Holden and Nate Jaqua each added one to pace the offense in a dominant performance by the Dynamo. The victory was the home side's fourth in a row, extending the team's unbeaten streak to seven games.

Conversely, Chivas USA is winless in five.

The Dynamo went up 1-0 early when Holden scored his first goal of the season in the 11th minute. He took a pass from Brad Davis and ran straight at goal from the left side before taking perfect touch shot over Chivas USA goalkeeper Zach Thornton for the early 1-0 lead.

Houston doubled the lead 11 minutes later when Kei Kamara took a pass from Richard Mulrooney and took a turning shot past Thornton for his third goal of the season.

The Dynamo made it 3-0 just over five minutes later when a ball played into the box that deflected to the back post where Jaqua knocked it home for his second goal in as many games.

Kamara closed out the scoring 10 minutes before the first half break when he headed home a Jaqua cross to make it 4-0.

The Dynamo (8-4-8) will try to extend their lead in the Western table when they travel to New York on Sunday while Chivas USA (6-9-5) hosts San Jose a day earlier in a battle of the Western basement.
