Bridgeview, IL (Sports Network) - Maicon Santos scored in the 76th minute, and Chivas USA tied the Chicago Fire 1-1 at Toyota Park on Saturday night.

Chivas (2-3-1) dropped its first two road matches this season without scoring, but Santos answered Baggio Husidic's 53rd-minute goal to split the points.

Chicago (2-2-2) had its two-game win streak snapped, and fell to 1-1-1 at home this season.

After a scoreless first half, Marco Pappa helped set up the opener with a nice play in midfield. Pappa eventually slipped a pass to the right side of the box to Patrick Nyarko, who did well to slid a pass to the left post to Husidic for an easy finish.

Santos scored the tying goal off a corner kick from Sacha Kljestan, heading to the upper-left corner 14 minutes from time.

Chivas USA visits the New England Revolution on Wednesday, before hosting the Houston Dynamo on May 8. Chicago returns to action May 8 at Toronto FC.
