Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The Houston Dynamo earned a 3-0 victory over the Kansas City Wizards in Major League Soccer action on Saturday night at Robertson Stadium.

Luis Angel Landin, Brian Mullan and Samuel Appiah all scored their first respective goals of the 2010 season to lead the Dynamo (3-2-1) to their third victory in six games this season.

Landin started the scoring in the 24th minute after a set-up by striker Dominic Oduro. Oduro drove into the K.C. area and left the ball for Landin on the left side. Landin then took a deft touch over goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen and the ball tricked over the goal line.

The Wizards (2-2-1) took a massive hit just after the half-hour mark when team captain Davy Arnaud was given a red card for stepping on Houston goalkeeper Pat Onstad's hand after a 50-50 ball in the area.

Houston took over the game from that point on, taking advantage of the extra man as Oduro and company ran free in the K.C. end of the field.

Mullan doubled the home side's advantage about five minutes after the break when he unleashed a laser into the left-post side-netting from the right side of the box.

Nielsen made a number of high quality saves in the second half to keep his team within striking distance, but it wasn't enough as Appiah knocked home an Oduro feed three minutes from time to close out the scoring.

The Dynamo will aim to build on the solid effort when they host Texas rivals FC Dallas on Wednesday, while Kansas City hopes to rebound at winless D.C. United earlier the same day in its next league fixture.
