Santos, Brazil (Sports Network) - Robinho may have played his last game for Manchester City after admitting he would be open to the idea of extending his six-month loan contract with Santos.
The $53 million British transfer record signing has returned to his first club on loan after struggling to make his mark in England.
The 26-year-old forward joined the Citizens in the summer of 2008 from Real Madrid but struggled with form and fitness problems.
In total he has scored 16 times in 53 appearances for City, but only one of those strikes had come this season.
Speaking at his first press conference since returning to the Brazilian club, Robinho declared: "My goal is to stay for a long time.
"If the president wants to extend my contract to four years that would be great.
"I have my objective of going to the World Cup and being at my best at the World Cup.
"I believe this can be my World Cup. In the national team competition is very big, there are a lot of good players and that had me worried."
