Adriano won't rule out European return

Sao Paulo, Brazil (Sports Network) - Brazil striker Adriano has hinted that he could be ready to return to European football.

The former Inter Milan striker is currently back in Brazil with Flamengo following a troubled spell in Italy.

He was released by Inter in April 2009 following a series of run-ins with various coaches at the Serie A club.

However, the 28-year-old has refused to rule out returning to European football at some point in his career following reports of recent interest from AC Milan and Roma.

He explained: "I have never made choices in my life for money, so I would not return to Europe unless I felt I was playing well enough.

"If money counted for something in my life, I would not have left my salary at Inter to come to Flamengo.

"The only thing I have said is that now I actually have the ability to return to European football because I feel more mature and ready.

"But I would still need to think and make the decision with my family."
