Carvalho completes move to Palmeiras

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Sports Network) - Midfielder Daniel Carvalho completed a move to Palmeiras from Atletico Mineiro on Monday.

The 28-year-old has joined Palmeiras on a one-year contract with the option to extend his stay a further two years.

Carvalho joined Atletico in 2010 and scored six goals in 36 appearances for the club. He spent the previous seven seasons with CSKA Moscow where he played in 85 matches while also being loaned out to Internacional and Al-Arabi.
