Lyon tops PSG in overtime to win French Cup

Saint-Denis, France (Sports Network) - Sidney Govou scored in overtime to help Lyon edge Paris Saint Germain, 1-0, on Saturday in the French Cup final.

Lyon, which has won the last seven French Ligue 1 titles, won its first league- cup double. Lyon, which last won the French Cup in 1973, has won four French Cup titles.

Govou broke the scoreless tie in the 102nd minute when he chested down a cross from striker Karim Benzema and scored from just a few yards out.

PSG, which was almost relegated for the first time in club history, was also looking for a double after winning the League Cup in March.
