Marsiglia out as Nice manager

Nice, France (Sports Network) - Nice announced on Monday that the club has decided to let go of manager Rene Marsiglia, who helped the side remain in Ligue 1 after a 4-3 win over Lyon on Sunday.
Marsiglia met with club chairman Jean-Pierre Rivere on Monday, and following the meeting, Marsiglia told reporters that he was "hugely disappointed" with the decision.
A former player at Nice before joining the coaching staff, Marsiglia took over as manager in November and was charged with helping to keep the team in the top flight.
Yet even after achieving that goal with Sunday's win, Nice decided not to renew Marsiglia's contract.
