Hamburg's Petric returns to training

Hamburg, Germany (Sports Network) - Hamburg striker Mladen Petric has spoken of his relief after making a quicker than expected recovery from a fractured leg.

The Croatia international picked up the injury during a Bundesliga game against Hertha Berlin on Oct. 4, but returned to training this week.

"It's a great feeling to be back in training. It's great to be back on the ball," said Petric, who has scored three goals in 10 appearances this season. "I'm not putting myself under any unnecessary pressure.

"I want to get back to 100 percent first before I make a full return."
