The 31-year-old Starke, a former German youth international, was at Hoffenhiem
from 2010-12. He will join Bayern as its backup with veteran Hans-Jorg Butt to
retire after this season.

Germany international Manuel Neuer is Bayern's No. 1 goalkeeper and Starke was
clear that he was happy to fill the No. 2 role.
'Football is a team sport, and I'm a part of the team,' Starke said. 'I'll
place myself completely at the team's disposal, which is very important, even
as a No. 2 goalkeeper. I believe we can achieve a lot next season, and I'm
looking forward to it.'
Bayern will play Chelsea in the Champions League final Saturday.
