Ramsey ruled out of Arsenal's CL clash with Dortmund

London, England (Sports Network) - Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey will not travel with the team to Germany for Tuesday's Champions League Group F clash with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday after he suffered an ankle injury in training.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who will be serving a touchline ban on Tuesday, will now be without Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Abou Diaby and Tomas Rosicky in midfield.

However, the team's new signings this summer, Mikel Arteta, Per Mertesacker, Yossi Benayoun, Andre Santos and Park Chu-young, will all be available, which Wenger thinks will allow his team to cope with the injuries.

"I think Aaron Ramsey has been very influential in our team since the start of the season, but it is a good opportunity that we now have a big squad and that we can cope with it," Wenger told Sky Sports News.
