Amauri handed one-match ban

Turin, Italy (Sports Network) - Juventus striker Amauri has been handed a one- match ban after being sent off in Saturday's Serie A clash against Napoli.

The Brazilian striker appeared to aim a kick at Morgan De Sanctis and was immediately dismissed although replays later revealed that he had not made contact with the Napoli goalkeeper.

However, Italian sports judge Giampaolo Tosel has still decided to enforce the suspension which means Amauri will miss this weekend's game against Atalanta.
