Mancini leaves Inter to join AC Milan on loan

Milan, Italy (Sports Network) - Inter Milan fullback Amantino Mancini has been allowed to make a short hop across the city to join rivals AC Milan on loan.

The former AS Roma fullback had found himself out in the cold at Inter this season and has joined the Rossoneri until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Milan also retained Marek Jankulovski on transfer deadline day in Italy despite reports that Inter wanted him in exchange for the Brazil international.

"There are some details we are tying up and Mancini will arrive on loan with the option to buy half of his rights permanently," explained vice president Adriano Galliani. "Jankulovski will remain with us."
