Roma stands firm over De Rossi

Rome, Italy (Sports Network) - Roma sporting director Daniele Prade has told Real Madrid to forget about signing Daniele de Rossi.

The Italy midfielder has been a long-term target for the Spanish giants, but the Giallorossi claim their vice captain will not be leaving the Eternal City any time soon.

"Real Madrid? I can only say that Daniele de Rossi will not move from Roma under the current presidency at the club," claimed Prade.

The 26-year-old midfielder has made almost 300 appearances for his hometown club during nine years in the first team.
