Juve striker Amauri out with thigh injury

Turin, Italy (Sports Network) - Juventus striker Amauri will miss up to a month of football with a thigh injury.

The development comes at a crucial point in Juventus' season, as The Old Lady lie in sixth place, 10 points behind Roma in third but just two points off the fourth and final Champions League place, currently occupied by Palermo.

A statement noted that: "The prognosis is of 25 days." That would put Amauri out of the next five matches, including both legs of the Europa League clash with Fulham.

Only David Trezeguet has scored more goals than the Brazilian's five this season, with veteran forward Alessandro Del Piero helping out with four.
