Rome, Italy (Sports Network) - Roma acquired forward Marco Borriello on loan from AC Milan on Tuesday, and the deal will become permanent at the end of the season.
Roma agreed to take Borriello on loan this season, and will play a nearly $13 million transfer fee for the Italian at the end of the campaign.
Borriello scored 14 goals for AC Milan last season, but was allowed to leave after the additions of Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. AC Milan also shipped forward Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to Schalke on Tuesday.
