Luis Enrique to leave Roma after season

Rome, Italy (Sports Network) - Roma general director Franco Baldini revealed on Friday that manager Luis Enrique will leave the club following Sunday's match at Cesena - the final game of the team's campaign.

"We already knew for some time that Luis Enrique would leave," Baldini told Sky TG 24. "After the game against Fiorentina (April 25), he had expressed with certainty his intentions. He told us that the right day had arrived to take this decision."

Enrique is in his first season at the helm of Roma and has one year remaining on his contract.

But the capital club has endured a disappointing campaign with the team set to miss out on Europe after winning just two of its last nine matches in Serie A.
