Pachuca wins second straight Champions' Cup

Pachuca, Mexico (Sports Network) - Mexico's Pachuca defeated Costa Rica's Deportivo Saprissa, 2-1, on Wednesday to win its second straight CONCACAF Champions' Cup and secure a berth in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Christian Gimenez and Luis Gabriel Rey scored for Pachuca, which led 2-0 after 54 minutes. Saprissa's Jairo Arreola scored in stoppage time.

Pachuca captured the championship series on aggregate, 3-2. The teams tied 1-1 in the first leg.

Pachuca also won the Champions' Cup in 2002.
