Benfica agrees to deal for Djaniny

Lisbon, Portugal (Sports Network) - Benfica agreed to a deal with Uniao Leiria to sign forward Jorge Djaniny, who will make the switch this summer.

Djaniny, 20, will sign a five-year deal with Benfica. He has scored two goals in 13 top-flight appearances this season.

Benfica leads Portugal's Liga standings with 11 wins and three ties through 14 games. Uniao Leiria is just four points off the bottom in 15th.
