Rangers opens 13-point lead on Celtic

Kilmarnock, Scotland (Sports Network) - Steven Whittaker and Kenny Miller each scored and Rangers beat Kilmarnock 2-0 on Tuesday to move 13 points clear atop Scotland's Premier League.

Whittaker scored the opener at Rugby Park in the 55th and Miller added another goal six minutes later to lead Rangers to its 20th win of the season.

Motherwell tied St. Mirren 0-0 at St. Mirren Park in Tuesday's other match.
