Dundee's Casalinuovo suffers setback

Dundee, Scotland (Sports Network) - Dundee United striker Damian Casalinuovo is set to be sidelined for a couple weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the 3-3 Scottish Cup draw at Rangers.

The Argentinian lasted just three minutes of the Ibrox clash and will definitely miss the SPL clash with Aberdeen next weekend and probably the replay with the Gers the following midweek.

Boss Peter Houston told The Courier: "Damian has injured his hamstring, so will definitely be out of the Aberdeen game.

"We're still trying to determine whether it's a pull or a tear, but the likelihood is that he'll be out for two weeks at least.

"Damian is still only 21 and been doing really well considering he's come here from a foreign country, but we've got options up front."
