Aberdeen, Scotland (Sports Network) - Aberdeen completed the signing of Stephen Hughes on Friday after the midfielder departed from Scottish Premier League rivals Motherwell.
Hughes put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at Pittodrie until the summer of 2014. In addition to his time with Motherwell, Hughes previously enjoyed stints at Rangers, Leicester City, Norwich City, and MK Dons.
The 29-year-old made his international debut with Scotland in 2009, coming on as substitute 20 minutes from time in a friendly against Japan.
