Mallorca adds defenders Josemi, Diaz

Mallorca, Spain (Sports Network) - Mallorca has bolstered its defensive options ahead of the new season with the double capture of Josemi and Ayoze Diaz.
Josemi, 28, has joined the Balearic club from Villarreal, while 26-year-old Ayoze arrives from Racing Santander.
The two fullbacks will compete to fill the void created by last month's departure of Fernando Navarro to Sevilla.
"I will try to make sure that Fernando Navarro is hardly remembered," Ayoze told the club's website. "I want to improve at Mallorca, a team where many important players are arriving."
Meanwhile, attacking midfielder Ariel Ibagaza has left the Son Moix to join Villarreal in a deal worth a reported $2.3 million.
