Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Jozy Altidore and Freddy Adu were among the 23 players named to the roster Friday for the United States men's national team's World Cup qualifier against Cuba on Oct. 11.
Altidore, who plays for Villarreal in Spain, and Adu, who plays for Monaco in France, were not on the roster for the team's recent qualifiers. The teenagers could also be on the roster for the Oct. 15 qualifier at Trinidad & Tobago.
