Murray wins opener at Olympics

Wimbledon, England (Sports Network) - Wimbledon runner-up Andy Murray posted a first-round victory over Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland at the Olympics on Sunday.
The third-seeded Murray cruised past Wawrinka 6-3, 6-3 under the retractable roof on Centre Court. Rain forced the match to be played under the roof.
Murray, who lost to Roger Federer in the Wimbledon final three weeks ago, is trying to become the first British tennis player to win an Olympic medal since 1996.
