Madrid will host Fed Cup final

Madrid, Spain (Sports Network) - The 2008 Fed Cup final between host Spain and reigning champion Russia will be held in Madrid.
Club de Campo de Madrid will stage the two-day, best-of-five finale from September 13-14.
The five-time champion Spaniards will appear in their 11th final, and their first one since 2002. while the three-time titlist Russians will compete in their eighth final. Russia beat Italy in last year's championship matchup in Moscow.
The Russians are 4-1 all-time versus Spain, including a first-round victory last year.
